After many hours of deliberation, multiple colour palettes referenced and various scientific experiments conducted, we have finally found the perfect colour hue. And of course, it is blue! We are extremely excited to reveal our new AdBlue. Actually, it is the same AdBlue as always, just with a new and improved colour scheme, to fit in with our branding and product vision. For Bluer Skies, we have decided to go TrueBlue!
Why did you make it blue?
We have had multiple queries from various clients who have asked us why our AdBlue is translucent and not blue. After a lot of experimentation and research, we have seen that there are many other AdBlue manufacturers worldwide who have been making their AdBlue, well blue.
We have sent multiple samples through to our SANAS-approved testing lab, and it has been confirmed that the colouring does not change or alter the consistency or concentration of our product in any way.
Does it change the chemical balance?
No, after multiple tests from our SANAS-approved testing lab, it has been confirmed outrightly that there is no change whatsoever in chemical balance or quality of our product. You can expect the same top-quality AdBlue that we have always provided, just with a new TrueBlue colour.
Will it affect my car / truck?
No. Because the powder that we add to the mixture is so little and has no chemical value, it does not mix with the chemical formula of the AdBlue it simply colours it. So, there are no side-effects that you will experience in your car or truck when using Siyanda Blue’s TrueBlue product. The main effect our product will have, is a reduction in your NOx and other harmful emissions by 98%.
How do you get it blue?
We use about 1 teaspoon of Lake Brilliant Blue powder / 4k litres of AdBlue, once this has been added we circulate the product to ensure that it colours all of the product evenly and blends well to create a beautiful, Lake Brilliant Blue colour for our AdBlue.
Can I drink it?
Even though the AdBlue looks very tasty and refreshing almost like an energy drink, it is meant to go into your vehicle’s SCR system and not in your mouth. AdBlue is non-toxic, but you still shouldn’t drink it.
