Did you ever wonder how to refill AdBlue tank in your vehicle? Well, wonder no more, in this video we instruct you how to refill your AdBlue tank on your commercial vehicle.
Hi, I’m Thrish from Siyanda Blue, and today I’ll be showing you how to refill your AdBlue tank on your commercial vehicle.
For this demonstration we’ll be using the Mercedes E series, but most other cars will be a similar process to what I’ll be showing you today
The first step is to locate your AdBlue tank, in this model, the AdBlue tank is right next to your normal diesel gauge, but some other models of cars have AdBlue tanks located in the boot, so make sure you know where your tank is located so you can easily refill your tank. Once you know where your AdBlue cap is located, you can easily open it up, using a tire iron that comes with the vehicle, you can loosen up the cap, and then from there you can open it by hand.
The next step is to remove the seal on the bottle cap, then from there you can attach a funnel or a funneling tube to make sure that the AdBlue doesn’t spill onto the car. Safely insert the nozzle in your AdBlue and simply pour into the tank – the process could take a few minutes.
The last step is then to reseal your AdBlue cap on the tank and close up the bottle. A very important thing to remember is to make sure you don’t contaminate the AdBlue that goes into the tank, as it could cause a lot of damage to the vehicle.
